When you own something, it's like saying to yourself, "I'm in charge, and I'll make sure things go right". For women, taking ownership of successes and setbacks is a cornerstone for personal growth and achievement. With this in mind, here are three practices you can adopt today to help you take ownership.
Self-Reflection and Personal Accountability: Regularly assess actions, decisions, and outcomes. Ownership of the positive and challenging consequences cultivates continuous learning and personal growth.
Adopt a Growth Mindset: View challenges as opportunities for personal growth rather than setbacks. Embracing a growth mindset allows for a positive reframing of failures and an openness to learning.
Setting Clear Goals and Action Plans: Clearly define achievable goals and establish a simple, actionable plan. Taking ownership involves actively working towards these goals and navigating the inevitable challenges that arise.
By assuming accountability over successes and challenges, women empower themselves on their journey toward personal development. Self-reflection, a growth mindset, and strategic goal-setting form the foundation for a proactive and accountable lifestyle, paving the way for continual progress and transformation.

1½ cups reduced-fat (2%) plain yogurt
2 Tbsp. unsweetened applesauce
½ cup unsweetened bran cereal
½ cup fresh blueberries
½ cup fresh raspberries
Combine yogurt and applesauce in a medium bowl; mix well.
Place one quarter of yogurt mixture in two bowls or yogurt jars.
Top with cereal, and half of the blueberries and raspberries.
Place remaining yogurt in each jar. Top with remaining berries.
Serve immediately.
Container Equivalents: 1/2 Purple, 1 Red, 1/2 Yellow
